Postdoc positions are available depending on timing and availability of funding. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and a recent graduate with a PhD or MD/PhD degree with strong academic training in microbiology or cancer.

Requirements:
• Two expected publications in a PubMed indexed journal
• Research experience in molecular biology, in microbiology or cancer fields
• Proven track record of troubleshooting and problem solving
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects in and bring projects to completion
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to learn new approaches and techniques
• Collaborative approach to science

In exceptional circumstances, we can direct admit graduate students into the lab; however this is contingent on funding. Please contact Dr. Burke if you are interested in a direct admit position.

Students who are interested in participating in the lab must meet the following requirements:

Minimum time commitment: 1 academic year
Minimum number of hours: 8 hrs/wk, no less than 4 hours per block
Minimum GPA: 3.0
